1:28
Simulate team feedback effectively.
Why Collaboration Matters
Design is a team effort. Effective collaboration ensures:
✅ Clear communication between designers, developers, and stakeholders
✅ Faster iterations with immediate feedback
✅ Reduced misinterpretation of designs
✅ Streamlined review cycles
Goal: Simulate real-world team feedback in your Figma files.
Setting Up Collaboration in few Steps
1. Share Your File
- Click Share → Set permissions: Viewer, Commenter, Editor
- Invite teammates or generate a shareable link
2. Use Comment Mode
- Click the Comment icon (💬)
- Pin comments to specific layers or frames
- Use @mentions to notify team members
3. Add Feedback Examples
- Suggest spacing, color changes, or interaction updates
- Example:
@designer Could we increase padding on this card by 16px?
4. Resolve Feedback
- Once suggestions are implemented, Resolve the comment to maintain clarity
Real-Time Collaboration
- Multiple team members can edit or comment simultaneously
- Changes appear in real time
- Use Version History to track who made changes and when
Simulating Team Feedback
- Create mock feedback comments as if a stakeholder is reviewing
- Add prototyping notes to indicate interaction suggestions
- Use sticky notes in FigJam for brainstorming sessions
- Resolve or archive feedback as design progresses
This helps teams practice structured feedback before sharing with actual stakeholders.
